How to repair the hook of a gantry crane

The use of gantry cranes requires maintenance and upkeep. Although their performance is good, there may be times when they malfunction. In this issue, our Shandong gantry crane manufacturer will introduce how to repair the hook of gantry cranes.

(1) Dismantle and inspect the hook, shaft, beam, pulley, and bearing, clean and lubricate them. There should be no cracks on the hook, beam, and pulley shaft, and the threaded part should not be loose. The bearing should be intact and undamaged. Rotate the pulley and replace any areas with marks or cracks on the return line;

(2) Check the wear and tear of the dangerous parts, and if it is found that the wear of the dangerous parts exceeds 10% of the original height, they should be replaced;

(3) After major repairs, the hook should be tested and suspended at 1.25 times the rated load for 10 minutes. The elastic opening of the hook shall not exceed 0.25% of the hook size. There shall be no deformation after unloading. And cracks;

(4) After repairing the board hook, the gap between boards should not exceed 0.3mm.
